2008"Lights"
Hanging installation of fluorescent bulbs on trees.
Hanging installation of fluorescent bulbs on trees.
Save the environment by swapping yellow (incandescent) bulbs for these!
Originally taken for an environment-themed photography competition - it is meant to highlight the importance of these compact fluorescent lights (CFL) in our ongoing quest to go green.
Why?
1. They last 8 times longer than incandescents.
2. They use 75% less energy to produce the same brightness as an incandescent.
3. They're stylish - comes in various shapes and sizes, even colours. Fits into old bulb sockets too.
