"Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO)"
SSAO effect with the light source on top and behind the boxes
SSAO is a technique used in computer graphics to shade objects giving them photorealistic looks. In this one, it is obvious that light from behind cannot reach the darker parts of the boxes.
Are we living in dark times now?

"Mirror Façade"
Abstract Building Drawing by dear
A mirror façade. A mirror of life. A mirror of deceits.
This is a tribute to 'classic' cubism - it can be a tall glass building if one wishes it to be, or something more sinister. The unequivocal, explicit black and whites contradicts the illusive mirrors. Which one are you?

"Lights"
Hanging installation of fluorescent bulbs on trees.
Hanging installation of fluorescent bulbs on trees.
Save the environment by swapping yellow (incandescent) bulbs for these!
Originally taken for an environment-themed photography competition - it is meant to highlight the importance of these compact fluorescent lights (CFL) in our ongoing quest to go green.
Why?
1. They last 8 times longer than incandescents.
2. They use 75% less energy to produce the same brightness as an incandescent.
3. They're stylish - comes in various shapes and sizes, even colours. Fits into old bulb sockets too.

"Journey of Life Fraught With Brown, Grey and People"
A journey fraught with All & Every, yet it is still walked.
This is life on a big picture. Life is the epitome of contrast and balance - a paradox in itself. Are we the masters of our own fate in this epic journey, or merely pawns of a greater entity?
